Writerly Things…2/4/19

Traci Kenworth

I’m sorry, I don’t have anything prepared for today with my surgery being last Mon., I’m a bit behind. I’ve only been able to actually sit up and get out of bed the last three days now. I overdid it Sat. so I’m trying to take it easier now. I have been miserable being kept in bed, lol. However, I did get some breakthroughs on some stories and even a few new ideas. I’ve decided with all the dr. visits I have this month, to push back the second surgery until March. I only have a couple then and I can always reschedule for those two. I’m planning to start driving again Tuesday though it will only be one trip for now to see how I do. I’m not anxious to be out very long either.

The groundhog has predicted an early Spring. I both rejoice and cry because of it. You see, warmer weather flares my HS up and it can get really bad. So as much as I love no snow or ice in the forecast, I’d rather have the cold. I hope you are all doing well! How are your projects coming along? Are you ready for warmer weather? Have a great week, take care, and God bless!

    1. Thank you, Chris! I’m trying to rest every few hours than allow myself a little time and continue this.

  4. Sorry to hear you’re flat at the moment Traci 😦 As much as I understand your dislike of the hot weather, maybe some balmy spring weather might lift you up?

Here, we’re struggling with continual heatwaves. It’s been a very long hot summer and I for one am hanging out for winter!

    Take care 🙂

    1. Spring definitely lifts me up with the birds and the animals, yes. It’s just the heat that bothers me, especially with summer.
